Cedar Lake report, 2-8-09

It was a bit windy and the sun was starting to drop but I decided that it was time to put a fishing pole in my hand and give it a shot. The last time I fished was December 13.....almost 2 months.....way too long a time to go without.

No fish to be had at Cedar but it was nice to cast line again. I used a weighted wacky for a bit but all I got was algae sludge. I then switched to a LC suspended bait but no hits. Frankly, it did not matter. It was beautiful out and it nice to be out and soak in a few rays.

There were a couple of other guys out, as well as Charlie, but I saw no fish landed.

Bring on the spring weather!

I fished for the first time in a while, but no fish.  I did however get to work on my baitcasting in the water.
