10/11 Wounded Warriors

I went out with a patriotic gentleman that has a great house on the Potomac just south of the new Harbor. He keeps his 22' GW on a lift...man I was jealous!

We were taking out some Wounded Warriors from Fort Meade. This was a Catfish Nation project set up by Tim Hagan. It was a great day and we managed to get our guys a 46, 41, 30, and a dink. These guys had a great outlook on things and I had a blast talking to them about their experiences and their plans. It has a way of bringing you're perspective back to reality. This event will be bigger and better next year and does not require membership in the club. So if anyone is interested in taking these guys out next year, the details will be at the Catfish Nation website.

The Maryland Chapter was also holding their season championship this weekend out of Smallwood. The winning weight was a two day total (4 fish) weight of almost 200lbs!

The season's just getting started for the trophy cats....when we going Ernie?

Dan,

That's great stuff! Thanks for doing that for those guys!

Let me look at the calendar and see what can be done about a hog cat trip!

Time to go fishin' again!
