11-21 LKA Limit of Stripers

Hadn't had any measurable rain here since Sept. 23.  Lake is down a good 18".  Today it was raining and cold 43 degrees.  At least the wind was minimal.  Got on the water at 9 and fished until 1 in the rain.  Had the Bimini up today for the first time this year.  It did keep me fairly dry when not running fast.  Started looking for birds and didn't find any until around 10:30.  By the time I got to them, they were done.  I did manage one keeper in the general area.  Went looking again and finally saw some random birds circling, but not diving.  I could see plenty of scattered stripers on the side scan, but not worth casting to.  So I put out 4 trolling rods with Bandit Walleye Deep Taco Salads.  Over the next 90 minutes or so, I lost 2 and caught 3 more keepers.  Took my time going back to the boathouse in the rain.

Buddy wants me to take him out tomorrow morning, but I'll see how well I recover from fighting 4 keepers today.  Sternum and shoulders are a bit sore right now tongue .
