10-13 Carp Report

Ok so I have been talking about the carp to some of my regular customers and so it happened today. Full of anticipation to show off this great fishery we launched at high tide. Sure we would break records today and honestly a bit giddy.  We set up and two rods went off in the first 20 minutes but not our target fish. Two cats to start the day. Then the grass hit our lines and I re-baited and reset lines for the next several hours. Three hours with no hits. Tide went low and bingo fish on. Picked at them for almost 3 hours. Caught 3 carp and 4 cats. Records where broke for sure: Biggest two carp ever caught and lowest carp count ever. Some good and some bad.
