Sunday float

This is going be a nice short report because the smallies didn't want to play with us 😁. I met a friend from work about 2 and we fished till about 6:30 on a short float.  Water is low and clear and it was sunny so definitely some tough conditions.

We got a few hits early on swimbaits but they were either little or just wouldn't commit enough to hook up.  Fluke bite was non existent.

I did manage 3, with the biggest going 16 on the swimbait.  It hit, was on for a few seconds and then came back when I let the bait drop.  My friend got one on a swimbait as well that went about 12-13".

My fish were caught in the ideal summer area, faster water with a little depth.  The 16 and another one that hit the crank were right in the seam and feeding with how hard they hit.

It was still a good time on the water, as we weren't working or doing house chores!

It's like deja vu all over again. Same results we had a couple of days back...

But good job getting some.

Time to go fishin' again!
