8/11/23 Every Day is Different

Got out a little later, but sun was still not up yet.  Water was up a bit and stained mid-river.  Rise was from the creeks I think, because Point of Rocks was about the same as Wednesday.

Started with a Chug Bug.  No hits, so tried the little buzzbait.  Not much happening, but one took a swipe at it and missed.  I threw the TRD, but it got snagged and I had to break it off.  Very unusual, but water was pushy.

Finally, I got a bite on the buzzer.  It was a decent fish and a good fight in the swifter water.  Beautiful colors and about 15.5 inches.

No more bites in that spot.  I saw Ernie go out.  Hopefully they will have a good day.  I tried another spot and caught one dink on a larger fluke style bait.  Got off right before 8am.
