July 15th Report

What looked like a great day to fish turned out to be the opposite. Sun was cooking the water and us and made the bite on a fly tough. Used some of my best tactics on an incoming tide. Clouser and deceivers  along with many other flies where deployed with no hits. Golden hour came and no sign of life was seen on the water. Tide was just starting roll out and a huge storm forced us in. Lots of lightning lit the sky as I prepped the boat for the ride home. Rain came in heavy as I pulled into my driveway. We did catch one itsy bitsy white perch. We all touched it to make sure the skunk was off. LOL

Wow, that is tough.  Strange how some days are like that.  At least your luck on dodging the storm was better.
